Hello.
I’m William, and I tell stories.
I was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and grew up in Mons, Belgium, the son of an Army officer and a schoolteacher. Life on the move taught me to see the world through many lenses — and somewhere between the packing boxes, plane rides, and overnight road trips, I found my love for storytelling. As a kid, I filled sketchbooks with drawings, wrote sprawling stories for my LEGO figures, and devoured books and movies that transported me somewhere new.
Eventually, everything came together behind the camera. At SCAD, I immersed myself in every aspect of filmmaking — from budgeting and scheduling to cinematography, lighting, editing, and color correction. But mostly, I focused on what was most important - the stories. Writing, realism, and honesty. I fell in love with French New Wave and Italian Neorealism, while rekindling my appreciation for the samurai epics, spaghetti westerns, and space operas that initially shaped my imagination.
Today, I use those experiences to craft authentic, emotionally grounded stories for brands, organizations, and audiences while I continue to pursue filmmaking on my own time. I specialize in documentary-style storytelling, but I’m equally at home planning intricate scripted scenes or tackling creative challenges that push boundaries.
As a director and producer, I look for honesty in every frame—whether it’s for an ad campaign or a corporate story or one of my own films. One day, I hope to channel that same passion into a galaxy far, far away… preferably on a Star Wars set.
